Letošní ročník festivalu se ponese v duchu dětských sborů. Hradecký festival proběhne nejen v domovském městě, ale i v Semilech, Náchodě či Praze. Od 5. do 9. června se představí deset dětských, dívčích a chlapeckých sborů, z toho osm tuzemských a dva zahraniční. Na festivalu vystoupí i mezinárodně známý soubor Musica Bohemica s uměleckým vedoucím Jaroslavem Krčkem.

 

Sborové slavnosti vyvrcholí v sobotu 8. června v 19 hodin galakoncertem v moderním prostoru koncertního sálu Petrof Gallery. Kromě dvou zahraničních sborů zde samostatně vystoupí i Královéhradecký dětský sbor Jitro. Všechny sbory festivalu na závěr společně s orchestrem Musica Bohemica provedou suitu Český rok od Jaroslava Krčka, který se za tři festivalové dny naučí.
 
Galakoncert se stejným programem se uskuteční i o den později od 16 hodin v Betlémské kapli v Praze. Jedinou změnou bude vystoupení mužského vokálního souboru Gentlemen Singers namísto sboru Jitro. Vstupenky na galakoncert v Hradci Králové zakoupíte na stránkách Petrof Gallery, na ostatní festivalové koncerty je vstupné dobrovolné.

This year of the Czech Choir Festival specializes on the children’s choirs. This festival that usually takes place in Hradec Králové will also host concerts in Semily, Náchod and Prague. This year’s festival will host ten children’s, girls’ and boys’ choirs that will perform between 5th and 9th of June. Of these ten choirs eight will be from the Czech Republic and two from abroad. The organizers of the Czech Choir Festival are happy to have internationally acclaimed orchestra Musica Bohemica with the conductor Jaroslav Krček as performers this year.

The Czech Choir Festival will host two galaconcerts this year. First on the June 8 in Petrof Gallery in Hradec Králové and the second one in Prague a day later on the June 9. All the choirs will perform Český rok by Jaroslav Krček with Musica Bohemica during these concerts. Both galaconcerts will have similar program, the only difference being the vocal ensemble Gentlemen Singers replacing Jitro during the concert in Prague.
